I am a philosopher in the analytic tradition, working on philosophy of religion, and on Marx and Marxism. I have a background in the philosophy of logic and mathematics.
I am the author of Negative Theology and Philosophical Analysis : Only the Splendour of Light (Palgrave) and of Church and Revolution: Continuing the Conversation between Marxism and Christianity (Sacristy).
I'm a lecturer in the School of Philosophy, Religion, and the History of Science at the University of Leeds where I am a member of the Centre for Philosophy of Religion and Theology.
I am treasurer of the British Society for the Philosophy of Religion. I am convenor of the Leeds Wittgenstein Reading Group.
